Dawson, a K-12 independent school of 535 students located east of Boulder on a beautiful 112-acre campus, seeks Athletic Coaches for various sports. The role of our coaching staff is to motivate an individual/team by improving the performance and skills of our athletes by conducting training sessions, coordination practice drills, and providing guidance. Head JV Girls’ Tennis Coach -- February 26, 2024 to May 11, 2024
Assistant Baseball Coach -- February 26, 2024 to May 18, 2024
Assistant Volleyball Coach -- August 12, 2024 to November 2, 2024
Practices are everyday during the week with an occasional Saturday practice or game.
Middle School practices are from 2:30-3:30pm and Upper School practices are from 3:45-5:45 pm
Qualifications
A strong desire to mentor and work with middle school and high school students.
Must work collaboratively with the athletic department and staff members.
Previous playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
Considerable knowledge of the game.
Have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
Communicate effectively, collaborate, and work positively as a member of a team.
Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States.
The salary for these temporary positions is a $1,500 - $2,000 stipend. Compensation is commensurate with experience. These temporary positions are not eligible for benefits.
